Habitat for Humanity

Helping Canadians realize their goal of homeownership has always been important to us. That’s why we’re especially proud of our long-standing relationship with Habitat for Humanity Canada.

Over the last 20 years, we have donated dollars, resources and thousands of MCAP employee volunteer hours. We’re helping to create positive and long-lasting change in the lives of Canadian families from coast to coast.

Over the years, we’ve come to learn that there is strength in numbers – which is why we offer ways for our customers, partners, and employees to get involved in our community programs and give back in unique ways. Here are some of the opportunities we are thrilled to share with the MCAP community.

Key to Hope™

Key to Hope™ is an exciting program, exclusive to MCAP, supporting Habitat for Humanity Canada. Every day, MCAP helps Canadians realize their dreams of homeownership and we are pleased to be able to help Habitat partner families realize those dreams too!

Through the program, MCAP homeowners have the unique opportunity to help build stronger communities by adding a donation for Key to Hope to their regular mortgage payments.

Caring and Sharing

We love how passionate and committed MCAP employees are to their communities. That’s why we introduced Caring and Sharing – a program that allows us to support initiatives that matter to our staff.

Each year, MCAP allocates donation dollars to registered charities supported by our employees, including:

  • MS Society of Canada
  • Canadian Cancer Society
  • Heart and Stroke Foundation

Supporting Local Initiatives

Our MCAP offices are across Canada, all the way from Vancouver to Halifax. To support our goal of investing in the communities in which we work, we’ve been proud to support these local initiatives over the years.

  • Shinerama to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis
  • Daily Bread Food Bank
  • Ride for Heart
  • CIBC Kitchener Waterloo Run for the Cure

Disaster Relief

In tough times, MCAP makes it a mission to show up for those in need. Whether it’s an emergency close to home or an international crisis, we’ve been able to provide support in difficult times through employee and corporate donations.
