Doug B. – $5,000 Home Depot Gift Card (2023 Prize)
Doug has been participating in MyHome Sweepstakes since he became an MCAP Homeowner over 10 years ago. He was caught off guard when he found out he was finally a winner! “Usually, when you get a call from your mortgage provider, it’s not a good thing,” says Doug. “I was definitely shocked and surprised!”
Doug won a $5,000 Home Depot gift card in MyHome Sweepstakes 2023 and it’s been a great benefit to him and his family. “We got a new fridge, dishwasher, and a new bed for my son,” Doug explains. “I wanted to treat myself too, so I got a new grill, a Traeger. I’m looking forward to using it this summer.”
Kerry S. – $1,500 Gift Card
Repairing her home’s deck was top of the list for MyHome Sweepstakes 2024 Winner, Kerry. She’s been an MCAP homeowner for about seven years. “I was really excited to win a grand prize!” she shares. “I also liked the way that I could choose my prize — I chose a prepaid [Visa] credit card.”
Lucas G. – $4,000 Mortgage Payment
Lucas and his wife got their mortgage with MCAP about 2 years ago. He was shocked when they won a $4,000 mortgage payment in 2023. “I had entered [MyHome Sweepstakes] not really thinking too much about it,” he says. “Figured it was worth the effort. Turns out it definitely was!”
A real benefit of winning the mortgage payment prize is that the funds go directly to the principal of your mortgage – something Lucas and his wife were very appreciative of.
“My wife and I have been actively trying to chip away at the mortgage with some lump sum payments,” he shares. “The prize will be worth much more than $4,000 by the end of our mortgage for how much it will save us.”

Gerald felt a wave of emotions when he found out he was one of this year’s winners — from confusion and disbelief to pure joy and gratitude!
